Woman dies in bike crash days after she posted ‘sleep is gentle death’
A woman died in a motorcycle accident just two days after posting on Instagram that “sleep is a gentle death.”
After the pandemic began, Russian-born Alina Bagirova travelled to Thailand in pursuit of fresh life. She provided photography seminars, sketched, and taught yoga in Thailand.
On September 25, she posted a message about death that many believe foreshadowed her demise.
According to her friends, she was tragically injured in a traffic accident on the island of Koh Samui two days later, on September 27, after losing control of the motorcycle she was riding.
There had been no reports of a collision with another car.
Her death was disclosed to her Instagram followers in the early hours of September 28 by her friend, influencer Artur Sita.He wrote: “Today, to our great regret, a pure soul has left us in an accident. A bright memory forever remains in our hearts, beloved friend.”
The photographer had just recently lost her mother and was heartbroken over her loss.
