Morning headaches are not strange phenomena in any way hence many have been experiencing them in many ways.
This form of headaches happens due to some physiological changes in the body. Below are some reasons why you may be experiencing morning headaches.
First on the list is insomnia. Insomnia is a condition where a person is not able to have a night of adequate sleep. When this happens, the person may wake up with headaches.

Second, on the list is the usage of wrong pillows. One can know if the pillow he or she has is wrong when the neck scalp muscles are restrained to one position for a long period of time. The tension ends up causing headaches.

The third reason on the list is sleep apnea. This condition is known to be a serious condition as it causes a person to stop breathing during their sleep. According to studies, morning headaches can happen due to lack of oxygen and increased pressure that develops in the head and this is due to sleep apnea.
People who also suffer from snoring can also wake up with morning headaches. It is therefore important that a medical practitioner is seen for some immediate attention.
Depression of anxiety can also cause one to have morning headaches. When the mood is constantly down, sleep is interrupted causing one to wake up with headaches. Seeing a medical practitioner is the best immediate option as depression, left alone, can cause some serious complications in the future.
Last but not the least, grinding the teeth is also another cause of morning headaches. One may need a mouth guard or some behaviour changes in order to stop this habit.
