Today, September 16, President Muhammadu Buhari will be represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Governments’ 2nd extraordinary summit on the current situation in the Republic of Guinea.
The meeting will take place in Accra, Ghana’s capital.
Osinbajo attended an ECOWAS special session on the political situation in Guinea and Mali last week.
On September 8, a virtual meeting was held.
Guinea has been suspended from all ECOWAS governing bodies and statutory meetings, as voted at the most recent summit.
