Visiting your partner unannounced: Is it a right or wrong move?

Visiting your partner unannounced: Is it a right or wrong move?
Would you mind if a partner came to see you on a frequent basis without your permission?
Is it ever improper to pay an unannounced visit to a partner?

Rev Deji Olabode of the Enthronement House Christian Center, remarked in church the other day, as an aside to what he was originally talking about, that girls in committed relationships should make unexpected visits to their partners’ houses on occasion.

Obviously, this means that cheating partners will very certainly be caught before the relationship progresses to marriage.

Unannounced visits provide you with a limited possibility of learning what your partner is up to behind your back. And if one of those things is cheating, you could find out before it’s too late.

When I queried a few coworkers about their opinions on the matter, one of them, a man, responded, “If you can’t see your partner unexpectedly, who should you visit?”

“No way,” says the other, who is a woman. That’s something I’d never do. I don’t want to witness anything that might make me lose my sanity. Please don’t let what you don’t know to kill you.”

So from your perspective, please share within the comment section whether it is right or wrong to visit a partner unannounced?
