UNILAG Student Wins 4–Inch Heels Shoe Race Competition (Photos)
Grace Utobuiro, a UNILAG 200 level Actuarial Science student, won the 3rd edition of the 4 – Inch – High Heel Race competition held at the NIS pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, and took home a whopping sum of N200,000.
Grace, who is 21 years old, won the one-day 100-meter dash event after defeating 14 other competitors.
During the heats, she had easy runs, but in the final, she was up against Favourite Eluwa and Zainab Ayinla, who had to settle with second and third place, respectively.
Eluwa and Ayinla each received N150k and N100k in addition to gift goods, while Utobuiro received N200k and gift items.
Elder Dede Agwu Kalu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of DMS Limited, said he was impressed by the turnout and the high level of competitiveness displayed by the participants, pledging his continued commitment to the competition and expressing his hope to expand it to other states of the federation and other African countries.
He claims that the sport-tainment industry is all about ladies looking good in heels when they wear them. “It is definitely vital for ladies to wear high heels since it gives them a distinctive look and brings out their attractiveness,” he explained.
