The highly awaited WBC fight between Tyson Fury and Deontey Wilder in Las Vegas ended with the gypsy king being praised.
Despite being dropped twice during the fight, Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder for the second time in a trilogy match to retain his WBC heavyweight belts.
Tyson stunned the crowd by throwing a double punch from the canvas in the 11th round, ending the fight.
Tyson is on a mission to become the world’s undisputed heavyweight champion, which could lead to a fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk for the WBA (Super), WBO, IBO, and IBF titles.
Tyson Fury said: “It was a great fight tonight, it was worthy of any trilogy in the history of the sport. Deontay Wilder’s a top fighter, he gave me a real run for my money. I always said I’m the best in the world and he’s second best.”
Wilder to Tyson after the loss said: ” I don’t want to show any sportsmanship or respect. I said no problem.”
