The deadline for the January 2021 transfer window passed on Monday 1 February, with a steady stream of transactions taking place throughout the day and evening.
There was a late flurry of activity with two clubs submitting a deal sheet in order to complete the paperwork for the transfer of their desired players after the eleventh hour.

“It came as a bit of a surprise,” he told Liverpool’s official website. “But once you start to get your head around it, the opportunity that is in front of me is incredible. I’d be silly to not make the most of it and learn off the players.”
