TB Joshua’s Daughter Marries, Holds Third Wedding Ceremony In 6 Months
Serah Joshua, the first daughter of popular Nigerian televangelist, TB Joshua has gotten married to her Tanzanian husband Briah Moshi for the third time.
The wedding took place last Saturday, May 8, 2021, at a Catholic Church located at Unga Ltd in Arusha and was followed by a grand ceremony held at the Arusha International Conference Center.
The couple first tied the knot in Nigeria at the Pentecostal Church and later in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates followed by the latest one which happens to be the third in Arusha.
Father Festus Mangwangi who presided over the ceremony is reported as saying that the union was not strange.
According to the man of God, it was a hybrid marriage in which after marriage the couple will retain his or her religion, but the children will become members of the Catholic Church. He went ahead to explain that before the marriage was solemnized, the bride and groom had signed a prenuptial agreement and after which they received the blessings of the Catholic Church.
He continued that two previous marriages were formalized in two different countries, a civil marriage and a formal marriage of the Pentecostal Church, that the bride’s church.
The groom who is a Catholic found it necessary to follow the Catholic tradition and reached an agreement with his wife to remarry.
“This marriage is recognized by the Catholic Church as a hybrid marriage where each one remains with their religion but the children will be Catholics,” – Father Festus Mangwangi is quoted to have said.
According to reports, hundreds of Arusha residents turned up at the AICC conference hall where the beautiful marriage ceremony took place.
TB Joshua’s wife and his relatives from Nigeria alongside the groom’s family were in attendance. Serah is a practising lawyer while her husband is in the tourism industry.
