Sound Sultan’s Wife Cries At Graveside, “I Don’t Want To Bury Him”
It was reported that tears and emotion flowed freely at the funeral of rapper Sound Sultan, who died at the age of 44 following a battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
Olanrewaju Fasasi, the rapper, was instantly buried according to Islamic customs.
Sound Sultan’s wife Farida Fasasi is seen repeatedly stating “I don’t want to bury him” when it’s time to pay her last respects to her husband in a video released on Instagram by artist Lamboginny.
Farida couldn’t bear the thought of doing the dust-to-dust rite. She was eventually pulled up so that the burial could continue.
Sound Sultan was married to Farida, an Igbo woman known as Chichi Morah, and they had three children.
