Sound Sultan is gifted, humble, and courteous, and he never says no — Kate Henshaw and others mourn
The shock of superstar singer Olanrewaju Fasasi, often known as Sound Sultan, passing away is still being felt, with celebrities turning to social media to express their condolences.
Sound Sultan died on the 11th of July, 2021, following a battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, according to a family member, Dr Kayode Fasasi.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, a TV personality, commented on Twitter, “This is really painful.” Quite possibly the kindest person you’ll ever meet. “Oh, my goodness.”
“I have never called on you that you have said ‘No’ to my request and vice versa,” actress Kate Henshaw tweeted.
“You always show up, and you always show up on time!! I am confident that Allah would accept you because you have always given of yourself without hesitation. “MY ANCESTOR, we used to joke that you hadn’t aged a day in all these years. Rest in peace, my dear brother and friend.”
“The news of Sound Sultan’s demise devastated my entire being,” wrote lawmaker Akin Alabi. He’s a great guy in general. It’s far too soon to depart from this world. “It’s been a terrible day.”
Mr Macaroni, a comedian, wrote, “OMG!!! Sound Sultan, may you rest in peace. A true legend!!!! May God give his family, friends, and fans around the world the strength to bear this devastating loss.”
“The nicest, most humble, and talented person you could ever know,” TV host Frank Edoho wrote. Sultan, make a noise! “May you rest in peace.”
Actress Juliet Ibrahim wrote: “This one pain me ooo #gonetoosoon one of the realest and most supportive and humble legends of all times.
“Forever in our hearts bro. Words fail me sef @soundsultan Rest In Peace King.”
