Sergio Ramos agree two-year contract with PSG after Madrid departure
Reports state that former Madrid and Spain captain; Sergio Ramos has agreed to a two-year contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain after refusing several offers from England and Spain.
The 35-year-old Spanish became a free agent after Real Madrid refused to meet his contract demands last month.
According to RMC Sport, Ramos seems on his way to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side. The French media report that Ramos’s brother has been in Paris to finalise a deal.
The report state that Sergio refused several big-money offers from EPL clubs, even one club went ahead to break wage limits in order to get him to no avail..
The deals which only subject to medical looks to be complete in a couple of days or before the weekends.
PSG will have no issues paying the Spaniard’s hefty wages and will value his experience, especially in the Champions League.
Ramos spent a trophy-laden 16 years at the Bernabeu with a goalscoring number reaching 101 goals in 671 appearances, winning four Champions League and five La Liga titles.
