Secondary school student stabbed to death over a woman
On Monday, October 11th, a secondary school teacher was stabbed to death in a bar in Siongiroi, Chepalungu, Bomet County, Kenya, after a dispute with another guy over a lady.
After they got into a battle over a lady, the unnamed man stabbed the Form Four student of Kapsinendet Secondary School in Chepalungu Sub-County twice in the neck.
While being taken to a Siongiroi health centre, the deceased suffered serious cuts and died. Joseph Ngeno, the site chief of Siongiroi, said:
“The cuts are so deep, he was stabbed with a very sharp knife, the blood spilt all over the place even some drops were traced all the way to the dispensary where he was taken by those who witnessed the incident.”
When questioned if the woman and man in issue had been detained, Ngeno stated that the lady was still new to the neighbourhood.
Nelson Masai, the Chepalungu police chief, informed K24TV that investigators from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) were able to apprehend the suspect.
“He is currently being held at Chebunyo police post and he is assisting the officers in the investigations.”
