EURO 2020: Reason Why Jack Grealish Should Be England’s First Choice In Attack Against Ukraine

Football enthusiasts and lovers around the globe have tipped England to be the winner of EURO 2020. England has scaled through their first hurdle to the quarter-finals stage, after defeating all-powerful Germany in the round of 16.

However, football analysts have opined that Jack Grealish should be used to marshal attacks against Ukraine. The suggestion hinged on the brilliant performance of Jack Grealish in the game against Germany

Grealish has been a utility player that contributed to two goals for England in the competition; the first one was against the Czech Republic as he set up Sterling for the only goal of the game. The second one came in their last game against Germany, setting up Kane to make it 2-0 for the Three Lions.

The Aston Villa captain has put his name upon England’s starting lineup after a top-notch performance in their last two games.

Grealish starting up a game against Germany didn’t only bring life into the attack but added pep into the game, which gave free movements to Sterling and Kane upfront. His introduction also gave Luke Shaw so much confidence as he bumped forward.

Based on the foregoing,  Jack Grealish’s astonish brilliancy in the two games against Germany and the Czech Republic, the Aston Villa man should be the first name on Southgate’s team list for Ukraine’s game in the quarter-finals.
