Poor Salary Or Toxic Workplace: Which One Do You Prefer?

    Poor Salary Or Toxic Workplace

If I ask between poor salary or toxic workplace, which one will you prefer?

If you’re looking for a new job right now, your top priority is a good salary. It’s understandable that most of us want to focus on getting the best salary possible. We require a reasonable and fair income to cover our daily expenses, purchase our favourite items, and live our lives as we wish. But the problem is that just because you make a good living at your job doesn’t mean you’ll be happy there in the meantime.

It is uncommon to find the right work environment while also earning a good salary. The reason is simple: when you earn a higher salary, you also take on more responsibilities. Many times, you will discover that earning more money can be extremely difficult for you, and in the end, it can be frustrating, not to mention extremely stressful.

I’ve been in both situations, and the stress of being in a toxic environment is crushing, and you either fall from the stress and weight or leave. I worked for one company for six months; the pay was excellent, but the culture was full of castigation and trading blames.

People would do anything to avoid being stuck with a problem or issue that they couldn’t solve. The weekly meetings were known as “blame games” in which management would literally ask “I need a name of who is responsible for this situation.

Analyzing both situations, if you are looking for work,  and you find yourself in such a work situation, which one will you prefer? Let’s discuss.
