Pochettino is ready to quit PSG to become United manager
Mauricio Pochettino is said to be willing to join Manchester United’s call if the club wants him to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.
Pochettino is reportedly ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain and return to the Premier League if Solskjaer was fired on Sunday, according to Sportsmail.
United has already appointed interim manager Michael Carrick until the end of the season as they hunt for a permanent replacement for Solskjaer, implying that Solskjaer’s permanent replacement may not be placed until the summer.
Mauricio, on the other hand, is said to be willing to quit PSG right now since he is dissatisfied in Paris.
The former Tottenham manager is reportedly upset at managing a locker room with strong egos like Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe, and is staying in a hotel while his family remains in London.
When Solskjaer succeeded Mourinho in December 2018, Pochettino was extensively connected with the United position, and the Old Trafford hierarchy still admires him.
The 49-year-old Argentine will arrive in England on Tuesday ahead of PSG’s Champions League match against Manchester City on Wednesday. Despite the fact that the United board has failed to contact him as of Sunday night.
Erik ten Hag of Ajax, Brendan Rodgers of Leicester, and Ralf Rangnick are all candidates interested in the job.
