There was a complete door net in fine shape before my tenant paid for the residence. As a result, she has lived here for more than 5 years, during which time she has replaced the worn-out door net.

I told her that I would withhold N5000 from the 8-month rent I owed her for removing the door net. She begins to rage, claiming that she spent N3000 on the door net and that I should not deduct her money.

The net was fixed by a tenant so he or she can remove the net when parking out.
