Oshiomole Apologizes To Obaseki, Read What He Said
Adams Oshiomhole, a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged Governor Godwin Obaseki, to be magnanimous in victory.
Adam Oshiomhole remarked this while congratulating the governor of Edo State on his victory at the Supreme Court on Monday.
The ex APC national chairman urged to Obaseki to put the past behind him in a letter to the Governor, which was made public by Oshiomhole’s media assistant, Victor Oshioke, in Benin on Monday.
In part, the letter said, “Congratulations on your Supreme Court triumph, which has effectively put to rest all concerns resulting from the recent election.”
“As I had frequently reminded you during our several meetings, our connection has evolved over the years from buddies to brothers of different parentage.
“Whatever happened was unfortunate, and I believe everything happens for a reason.
I’ve moved on after putting everything behind me.
“Please be magnanimous in triumph, as I’ve always advised. Regardless of party affiliation, you are the Governor of all Edo people.
“Congratulations once more, Excellency!”
