Benue Coordinator Of NYSC Urges Corps Members To Have Skill, Not To Depending On Certificates
Abe Dankaro, the Benue State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, has urged 2021 Batch C stream 1 Corps members undergoing orientation in the state to take advantage of the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme.
The Coordinator, who made the announcement on Tuesday at the Camp’s Multipurpose Hall in Wannune, advised corps members to learn a skill or two in order to provide more effective service and dexterity in life.
Dankaro cautioned young people against becoming overly reliant on their certificates or elusive white-collar jobs, “regardless of the class of degrees obtained.”
He also took the time to advise and inform prospective corps members about funding options, post-camp training, and other related issues.
