Mothers Of Abducted Baptist School Pupils Block Kaduna Road in Massive Protest (Photo)
The increasing wave of the kidnapping of students in the Northern part of Nigeria has left a bitter taste in the mouth of parents, who are being affected by the menace.
On Monday, it was reported that Gunmen stormed a secondary School in Kaduna in a well-coordinated attack and abducted some students. As of now, nobody knows the total number of students that were kidnapped but a report from an unknown source put the figure at 26.
Irked by this development, hundreds of women, including parents of kidnapped Bethel Baptist School students on Monday, blocked the Kachia Highway in Maraban Rido to protest against the incessant kidnapping of schoolchildren in the state.
The development came just after a day after bandits abducted babies, female nurses and security guards from the residential quarters of the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre (NTLC) in Zaria, Kaduna State on Sunday.
It would be recalled that SaharaReporters had earlier reported that suspected bandits kidnapped many over 160 students of Bethel Baptist School located in Maraban Rido in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
