Mbappe Very Angry With Chelsea Striker Giroud After He Said This
Kylian Mbappe, a Paris Saint Germain front, is furious with Olivier Giroud after the Chelsea striker complained about his France teammates’ lack of service, according to L’Equipe.
Following Giroud’s comments that he was upset with France’s lack of continuity in attack after the World Cup champions thrashed Bulgaria 3-0 in their final Euro 2020 warm-up game on Tuesday evening, Mbappe felt “attacked” and “mad.”
France beat Bulgaria 3 :0 at the Stade de France, due to a brace from Olivier Giroud and a goal from Antoine Griezmann.
At his post-match press conference, Giroud said, “I was a little quiet because, occasionally, I make runs and the balls aren’t forthcoming.”
“I’m not saying I always make the best runs, but I’m always looking for ways to solve problems in the box.”
Next Tuesday, France will begin their Euro 2020 campaign against Germany.
In Group F, Didier Deschamps’ team will also face Portugal and Hungary.
