See what happens to Lady who Quits Bank Job After Getting Offer In Dubai
See what happens to Lady who Quits Bank Job After Getting Offer In Dubai Kimberly Ofori, a young woman, described how she became detained in Dubai after travelling there in search of a better job on LinkedIn. Because she wished to take up a different job in Dubai, the lady turned down a promotion offered by a bank she used to work for in Amsterdam.
So she quit her job at the bank, packed her belongings, and flew to the United Arab Emirates on a one-way ticket. The lady had gotten a job with a housing company that offered a relatively better salary that was tax-free before making that bold move.
When she arrived at her new job in Dubai, all delighted, the company’s director was taken aback. She called Ofori shortly after, offering her a one-month advance salary and apologizing for the job opportunity being cancelled.
Before she arrived in Dubai, the boss disclosed that they attempted to contact her and alert her of the latest situation.
That’s how Ofori ended herself stranded, having to apply for over 70 jobs over the next six months without luck. She had to rely on water and little meals such as noodles and biscuits to get by. She never told anyone about the condition at home.
When the young lady’s money stopped coming in, she became more desperate in her job search until she found one.
