According to the CDC, heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the United States. Approximately 655,000 Americans* die from heart disease each year. *
Some factors that can increase the risk of heart disease include excess weight, poor diet, not enough physical exercise, diabetes and excessive alcohol consumption.
Plaque can build up in the arteries in someone with heart disease. When plaque thickens along the walls of the arteries, it can hinder blood flow. A clot can form that blocks blood flow.
Our heart is so very precious. Isn’t it something we should guard and nurture since our life depends on it? Show your heart some love
