Is Simeone a bad loser for refusing to shake Klopp’s hands?

Is Simeone a bad loser for refusing to shake Klopp's hands?

After games, Diego Simeone dislikes shaking hands with opposing managers because he believes it causes “falseness.”

He did not shake hands with Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 at the Wanda Metropolitano last month, instead of darting down the tunnel.

As a result, Klopp appeared perplexed, putting his thumb up amusingly while waiting for Simeone.

Diego was accused of being impolite by snubbing his colleague, however, it has now been revealed that, regardless of the circumstances, he does not conduct the “UK standard” post-match handshake.

Thus, he won’t be shaking hands again tonight at Anfield.

“I don’t like the greeting after the match because they are the emotions of two sides in different emotional minds,” Simeone said.

“I know in the UK it is a custom but I don’t share it and I don’t like the falseness it may include.

“I don’t know Klopp as a person very well but I know he is a great coach who has done great work at every club he has been at.”

So is Simeone being a bad loser by refusing to shake Klopp’s hands after the match?
