Is It Okay To Receive A Gift From Ex Prior To Your Wedding?

    Gift From Ex

A jealous woman has been arrested for poisoning her ex-partner and his new fiancée with a tainted box of chocolates just three days before their wedding in Brazil.

On Thursday, Dione Quirino, 35, and Amanda Cassia Lopes, 27, were said to have received a gift from ex-( delivery of chocolates ) at their home in Jaiba, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The couple, who was set to marry over the weekend, was said to have eaten the chocolates, mistaking them for an early wedding gift.

A total of five people – the bride and groom-to-be, two other adults, and one two-year-old – were hospitalized after becoming ill before it was discovered that they had ingested some kind of poison.

Meanwhile, their family dog, who was also given a sweet or two as a treat, died as a result of poisoning from the chocolates they thought were a wedding gift.

According to the source, the dog was the first to become ill and died as a result of the as-yet-unidentified poison, while all five people were taken to the hospital after becoming severely ill.

A day after the alleged poisoning incident on Friday, police arrested the groom’s ex-girlfriend as the main suspect after interviewing the victims and other family members.

According to their statements, the woman could never accept the end of the relationship or the fact that her ex-boyfriend had found happiness with someone else.

As you parted ways with your ex, is it okay to receive any gift from him or her? Let’s discuss.

hmmm, its a very suspicious move unless the giver is not going to be around for the ceremony else there are other alternatives

so sad, that’s more reason why we should be careful and intentional in every day of our lives, we should not always act like somethings are normal and should be taken for granted

My take is all the exes should be avoided before and after the wedding.

People should be very sensitive when it comes to gifts from the ex. Many marriages suffer because of gifts collected by unknown givers on the wedding day.
