Is It Okay To Love Someone Even If You Know You Can’t Be With Them?
Perhaps, Nat King Cole was right when he said that “The greatest thing you’ve ever learned is just to love and be loved in return.”
Having someone to adore is a magical feeling. But the worst part is knowing that you can’t be with them.
There was this girl I truly loved, but I couldn’t be with her because the feeling for her isn’t always enough. Fighting for her is not always the best option. You know you adore someone when you value her happiness more than your own. You know you like her when you’re willing to let her go even if she’s not yours.
Interestingly, you admire her a lot and continue to do so, pray for her, and wish her success despite the fact that you can’t be with her. They say that love is many splendour things, but if it is one-sided, it is the most heartbreaking experience of your lifetime. Even though I know I can’t be with her, I still like her.
Have you found yourself in such a situation, share your experiences.
