The day I had a funny encounter with Lagos Police
My experience with the Lagos State Police officers in Lagos today was a little amusing.
I was riding a tricycle known as “Keke” from Ladipo junction to the bank when we encountered several police officers at a police roadblock where they often stop and examine Keke and other vehicles.
They brought the Keke I boarded to a halt and the officer quickly took notice of me seated between an old woman and another man. He motioned for me to step down, which I did, and he searched me, finding only my handkerchief, ATM card, and
N500, as well as my phone in my hand.
He inquired as to who owned the ATM card; I informed him that it belonged to me and that I was on my way to the bank.
He asked that I unlock my phone, I obeyed and unlocked the phone, he scrolled through my photo gallery and saw the screenshotted picture below…

Ogbeni! before I knew what was going on, he asked the Keke driver to go on with the journey with the other passengers leaving me behind.
Omo!…the police officers began to lay accusations on me that I was among those useless youths as they called it, they started saying I am one of those useless youths who mocks them on the internet, and they will take me to their station first, before chargIng me to court to explain the picture and its purpose on my phone… I was almost running crazy!!
I began pleading with them, oh, that I would never do it again.
