Is There Anything Wrong For A Husband To Open The Car Door For His Wife?
While I was growing up, I love watching movies. Though, most of the movies I liked watching were American’s films. In such Hollywood films, you will observe a man driving in a car with his woman, when he comes to a complete stop and the woman wishes to exit the vehicle; the man will come down and open the car door for her.
Since I started dating men that have a car, none of them has made attempt to open the car door for me when I want to alight from the car. I only see it in movies but have not experienced it before. I have dated like seven guys before I finally got married to my husband, and he will never open the car door for me.
Surprisingly, when I asked him why he doesn’t deem it necessary to open the car door for me, his responses shocked me. He asked me if I don’t have hands to open the door for myself. I felt so bad. I want to be loved and the only thing I asked him is to open a car door and this, of course, will make me feel special.
The car he is driving is mine but we drive it together and I even pay most of our bills yet he won’t pamper me like a woman. The most painful part of the fact was that he opened the door for my friend when she was picked at church. When I asked him, he said that my friend was in high heels and carrying a Bible and bag.
I just want him to open the car door for me and make me feel special. It’s too much to ask from him?
