How to resolve excess salt in your food

Salt is one of the most important minerals our bodies need that must be present in our dishes, salt can also make our foods very delicious and can also or break a dish, but it all depends on the quantity that we apply to the dish.

Sometimes you overrate the amount of salt you need in your dish, it could either be too little (which isn’t too bad) or too much (which is the worst situation) and can completely ruin the taste of the dish.

It sometimes better to add a little salt at first and then add more later if there be a need. But in cases where you’ve just added too much salt to that dish, the idea of throwing away food in this present state of things is both unadvisable and religiously wrong.

So Family Lifers prefer a simple solution:

    • Just peel a piece of yam and place it in the pot of salty food, Few minutes later the yam should have absorbed all the excess salt in your food and make it more edible for you and your family to enjoy.

Next time avoid excess salt or call someone who knows the amount needed in the food because yams are very expensive these days.
