How Can NFF Develop Sports From The Grassroots?
Undoubtedly, Nigeria is not only blessed with abundant natural resources but with amazing human resources. Someone might wonder why the Federal government has not been able to harness all the resources for the betterment of all Nigerians.
In the field of sports, there are many incredible talents out there that are yet to be identified, which I think the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) should work in partnership with the local authority to scout for these raw talents for developmental programmes.
Arsenal has signed a 9-year-old Nigerian boy to a professional football contract. Munir Sada, from Zaria, Kaduna State, has joined the club’s academy. He signed his contract in front of his parents and manager, and he was given the No.9 jersey, and he is expected to play for Arsenal FC’s youth team.
