Hazard Has Had No Luck At Real Madrid – Belgium Boss Martinez
According to Roberto Martinez, Eden Hazard has had no luck at Real Madrid, despite the fact that the out-of-form winger is still “important” for Belgium.
Hazard has struggled to live up to expectations after joining Real from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 for €100 million (£86 million/$121 million).
Martinez’s total impact was limited throughout the 2020-21 season due to injuries, but he is optimistic that he will be able to return to his best at the European Championships.
Hazard has been afflicted by misfortune in the Spanish city, according to the Belgian coach, and he wants to see him enjoy his sport again when the summer competition begins.
“In football, there is little mention of luck, and he hasn’t had it yet in Madrid,” Martinez told La Vanguardia.
“Because he hasn’t played on the field, he can’t be regarded there.
He had never been hurt before at Chelsea.
“He’s an important player for us; he’s the captain, a symbol, and I’m hoping that, along with the environment we’ve created, he’ll be able to turn his luck around and smile again on the pitch.
“Because when Eden is having fun, his football shines, and that is what we have all been waiting for.”
