The Life Of T.B. Joshua
The sudden demise of the late Prophet TB Joshua sent shivers through the spine of many of his followers all over the world. The renowned preacher man throughout his days in ministry touched the lives of millions of people across the world.
For many, he was not just a Preacher, a prophet, philanthropist, or an evangelist but also a father figure- it, therefore, is not surprising that almost every single member of his church, The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), call him ‘Papa’
Even though TB Joshua has been rocked with hundreds of controversies and image-destructive scandals, he never allowed any of it to change his ever-loving demeanour and warm personality. Temitope Balogun Joshua was born on June 12, 1963, in Ondo State in Nigeria. It is said that, unlike other children, his mother had to carry him for 15 good months before finally delivering him.
In his early life, he attended the St. Stephen Anglican Primary School in Ikare-Akoko, a suburb of Nigeria. Due to financial constraints on the family, Joshua could not complete his Secondary education and had to drop out in the first year and enrolled as a farmhand in a poultry farm.
