Did you know Chamillionaire is a Yoruba man?
He is a rapper, entrepreneur, and investor who was born Hakeem Seriki but is better known by his stage name Chamillionaire. Chamillionaire was born in Washington, D.C., to a Muslim Nigerian father and an African-American Christian mother, and moved to Houston, Texas when he was four years old.
In 2007, he won a Grammy for his song “Riddin'” in the category of Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. He was nominated for four awards that year.
