    2. Shop Manager

    Location: Surulere, Lagos

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    a) Order Management

    Relay customers’ orders.

    Process customers’ orders and record them.

    Handle order returns and exchange.

    Issue Receipts.

    Place orders in the appropriate bags.

    b) Cash Reconciliation and Report

    Proper handling of cash payment and retirement.

    Balance daily checks and sales reports.

    Maintain cash collected/Keeping track of all cash and credit transaction.

    Operate cash register and accept payments from customers.

    Maintain detailed records of orders.

    Generate daily cash report.

    Manage daily shop inventory.

    Send all cash payments to the Accountant.

    c) Customer Service/Order Placement

    Maintain a cheerful, friendly attitude towards customers while correctly operating the cash register.

    Develop invaluable customer relation techniques.

    Implement strategies to improve customer experience.

    Answer or address customer questions by providing information concerning products and delivery options.

    Monitor the status of placed orders and encourage appropriate staff for faster preparation of orders.

    Ensure orders for dispatch matches customers’ requests.

    d) Leadership

    Supervise the activities of the Sales Officers/Attendants in the shop.

    Ensure they all act in an orderly manner and look presentable at all times.

    e) Sales and Marketing

    Occasionally market the company’s product to customers at different locations.

    Other responsibilities as cascaded.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    a) Relevant work experience in Sales or Customer Service.

    b) Minimum of OND in accounting, business administration, or any related field.

    c) Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.

    d) Proximity to Surulere is a key consideration.

    10. Seasoned Accountant with Admin/PM Skills*

    Our Client, an Energy Infrastructure company, is in need of a multi-skilled and seasoned accountant with good PM/Admin skills and experience for a 12-month contract renewable (or possible conversion to a full-time role) in Lagos.

    *The incumbent will be required to undertake the following core business operations activities:*

    Create a robust bookkeeping system in order to generate accurate management accounts and financial statements – including closing some historical gaps

    Excellent Mastery of setup, configuration, and use of online accounting systems including Quickbooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, Wave Accounting, or Freshbook is required.

    The candidate will be expected to provide project management/accounting support to technical/field teams in project planning, execution, and reporting

    Provide Admin/Office Management ( and some minor HR) support to the company and staff to keep the office running smoothly

    The candidate will also be interfacing with and Managing vendors and suppliers (both offshore and in-country) for timely delivery of invoices, payment receipts, and efficient inventory/materials management – managing Accounts Receivables/Payables.

    Requisite and relevant certifications and Energy sector experience will be added advantage

    An Accounting degree or similar qualifications along with certifications is mandatory.

    3-5 Year cognate and hands-on experience in a structured organization is required

    *Other Qualifications or Requirements:*

    The candidate should be comfortable visiting project sites being supported and interact with technical staff.

    Offshore Technical Procurement experience is an added advantage.

    Experience interacting with Tax and other regulators and banks.

    Strong work ethic, results-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to build and lead a performance-driven team

    The candidate must be ready to hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision to deliver on key company objectives working on-prem and/or remotely.
