Coca-Cola Reacts To Cristiano Ronaldo’s Gesture (See Their Response)
Coca-Cola has finally responded to the gesture made by Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo during a press conference on Monday.
Ronaldo created a sensation with a move involving two Coca-Cola bottles. The gesture quickly went popular on social media.
While speaking to the press ahead of Portugal’s Euro 2020 group-stage match against Hungary, the Juventus striker noticed two bottles of fizzy beverages and pushed them away from him. The 36-year-old then grabbed a bottle of water and exclaimed to the cameras, “Agua!”
Coca-Cola reacted with a frank remark on Tuesday, as reported by the Daily Mail.
“Everyone has the right to their own beverage preferences.”
“Throughout the event, Coca-Cola offers a variety of drinks to meet diverse tastes and needs, which are available to participants.
“Waters, isotonic sports drinks and juices, coffee and tea, as well as Coca-Cola, fall under this category.
“On arriving at our press conferences, players are given water as well as Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar,” it continued.
