FOOTBALL LOVERS!! Between Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ronald Koeman, And Pochettino – Who Deserved To Be Sacked First?
What an amazing weekend! As if Liverpool thrashing Manchester United and Real Madrid thrashing Barcelona weren’t enough, there was also a goalless draw in France between Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain.
United has had a bad run of results in the Premier League recently, with a loss to one of their main rivals on Sunday leaving them winless in four games.
Many supporters have called for a management replacement after the Red Devils’ poor performance at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Within 50 minutes, the visitors had a 5-0 lead over the Red Devils, while a bad afternoon for the hosts became even worse when Paul Pogba was sent off.
Many United supporters feel that now is the greatest moment to fire Ole because if he does not, the club would face harder times.
The attention in France on Sunday was not so much on Paris Saint-performance Germain’s — a drab 0-0 draw in Marseille in a much-anticipated but uninspiring Classique match.
It’s not so much that Neymar (who has only scored one goal this season) has put up another terrible effort for PSG. Or that the “4 Fantastic” (Neymar, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Angel Di Maria) were more like the “4 Ineffective”
Pochettino now has the task of making PSG the invincible team we all expected them to be this season, or he will most certainly be fired. PSG has not been consistent so far this season, and with a club like that, coaches like Guardiola and Klopp would definitely be in charge at all times.
Only time will tell whether this 2-1 Clasico defeat to Real Madrid will prove to be a final referendum on Ronald Koeman’s right to continue his increasingly pale imitation of a Barcelona coach.
But if those in power at the Camp Nou, where Barca suffered their fourth straight defeat to Madrid for the first time since the Beatles were breaking through in the 1960s, decide to take this performance as an indicator of Koeman’s credibility — not his legacy — as someone in the right frame of mind, making the right decisions and showing his players the correct way forward, you would understand if they believe there are better options.
Truth be told Koeman doesn’t look like a coach made for Barca’s legacy, we no longer see Barca has a great team again.
