AMAZON SET TO SET UP HER AFRICAN HEADQUARTERS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Amazon yesterday announced its plans to situate its African regional headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa just one week after Twitter announced that Ghana would be the home for her Africa head office. Authorities in Cape Town confirmed this, saying the City of Cape Town has greenlit the R4 billion River Club mixed-use development, which will be the new home of retail giant Amazon in Africa. In reaction to this, the Democratic Alliance has welcomed the announcement that US online retail giant will establish its South African headquarters in Cape Town. And further stated that the South African Amazon office has the potential of bringing 19,000 citizens out of unemployment.

  The prediction that Africa will become the next world power have started. Big business owners are seeing prospects, and more importantly the market is quite enormous.
  It is the onus of the South Africa government to ensure that she creates a good enabling environment for businesses to strive, and there must not be an economic policies surmersult.
