AFCON 2021: Super Eagles To Face Egypt, Sudan In Nations Cup

The drawings for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations took place on Tuesday evening at the Palais de Congres in Yaounde, Cameroon, and 24 teams were divided into six groups.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, on the other hand, have been drawn to play Egypt, Sudan, and Guinea Bissau in the group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Cameroon.

Nigeria, a three-time winner, was placed in Group D with three potentially difficult opponents.

The AFCON 2021 competition will be held from 9th of January to February 6, 2022.

Grouping:

Group A: Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Cape Verde

Group B: Senegal, Zimbabwe Guinea, Malawi,

Group C: Morocco, Ghana, Comoros Gabon,

Group D: Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, Guinea Bissau

Group E: Algeria Seirra Leonne, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d Ivoire

Group F: Tunisia Mali, Mauritania, Gambia

  hopefully we win the AFCON next year and improve our chances for qualifying for the world cup though i don’t trust that Genert Rohr

  these opponents should be easily beaten by the eagles and we should already be seeing ourselves in the next round of knockouts… i no wan hear story from these boys ohh

  Irrespective of a group Nigeria is placed, what preparation have the handler of Super Eagle put in place in other to win this AFCON cup? Will the NFF continue to show lackadaisical attitude towards sports activities in the country.

  I hope the Super Eagle will put up a superlative performance during the AFCON 2012 games. We expect the cup from them this time around.
