Woman claiming she gave birth to 10 babies disappears and her partner doesn’t know her whereabouts
According to the babies’ alleged father, a mother who shocked the world by giving birth to ten babies has gone AWOL.
Tebogo Tsotetsi claims he no longer believes Gosiame Thamara Sithole, his girlfriend, gave birth to their children.
Gosiame made headlines on June 7 after it was revealed that she had given birth to seven boys and three girls via C-section in Pretoria, South Africa.
Pictures of the infants and their ecstatic mother, who were reported to have been conceived naturally and delivered after 29 weeks, were shared online.
Tebogo Tsotetsi’s concerns intensified after the government and hospitals questioned the multiple births.
Tebogo Tsotetsi’s concerns grew stronger, and he now believes the “decuplets” do not exist
On Tuesday, June 15, the disappointed father issued a statement apologizing for any “inconvenience and embarrassment” and stating that his family had “concluded there are no decuplets.”
A missing person case has been initiated, according to News24, in order to locate the missing woman and safely return her home.
Tebogo Tsotetsi provided the following statement: “He (Tsotetsi) attempted to visit his girlfriend and the babies on multiple occasions, but she refused to reveal her location or the condition of their children.
“The family is very concerned about the current uncertainties and public discourse surrounding the decuplets.
“The family has resolved and concluded that there are no decuplets born between Tebogo Tsotetsi and Gosiame Sithole, until proven otherwise, and wishes to apologize for any inconvenience and embarrassment,” the family said, “especially in the absence of any proof of the decuplets existence other than telephonic and WhatsApp messages from the mother.”
Gosiame and her boyfriend Tebogo Tsotets already had a set of twins, thus the addition of ten more children would have pushed their total number of children to 12.
Doctors initially thought Gosiame was expecting six children, which Tebogo says he couldn’t believe at the moment.
“We realized that,” family spokesman Russell Baloyi told Times Live.
Given the various accounts that have been coming out, it’s about time we lay this thing to rest and work on the facts, as nasty as the situation was for the country.
“The mother’s whereabouts are still unknown.
In terms of the pregnancy, the truth was that the woman was expecting a child.”
